Morten Harsem has been appointed CEO of Ahlsell AS.

The past four years Morten has held a position as CEO of Elektroskandia (Rexel), the largest electricity wholesale company in Norway, where he has been working in various positions for the past 15 years.

Morten will assume his position with Ahlsell 1 March, 2012.

I am very pleased with the fact that we have managed to recruit a top level manager from Norway’s leading electrical trading company. I am convinced that Morten will provide the management capacity that we need to make Ahlsell in Norway an important and profitable component in the Ahlsell group, says group CEO Göran Näsholm.

Ahlsell is the Nordic region's leading trading company in installation products and tools & machinery.
